- Jimmy's Farm
Visit Jimmy's Farm as seen on TV, home of the rare breed Essex Pig. The working farm is open for visitors 7 days a week. There's loads to do at the farm for a great family day out. There is a Nature Trail, Woodland Walk, Beautiful Garden's, Farm Shop, Adventure Play Area and Field Kitchen. You can buy home reared free range pig produce, beef and lamb in the butchers as well as an abundance of herbs and veggies from their garden. If you can't make it to the farm you can buy their meat from the lovely online shop.
- Kesgrave Hall
The bistro restaurant at Kesgrave Hall has everything you would expect, inventive food alongside classics such as the delightful fish and chips, a buzzing but relaxed atmosphere and wonderful service from a friendly and professional team. Although you cannot book at Kesgrave Hall it is open all day! so you can arrive when you choose.

Just minutes away from Ipswich town centre, Mariners Restaurant (Formerly Il Punto) is a renowned French Brasserie afloat, moored alongside Neptune Quay at Ipswich Marina.

- The Pier Restaurant, Harwich
The Pier restaurant, Harwich sits opposite the marina at Shotley Gate and can be reached via the Shotley foot ferry (weather permitting and check the timetable) and is perfect for lunch or dinner. The views from the restaurant take in the Stour and Orwell estuaries and the harbour below. A speciality is seafood much of which is landed in the harbour opposite and head Chef Chris Oakley who has been at The Pier since it opened in 1978 makes full use of the fresh produce available.
