- Fairfields Farm Crisps
Fairfields Farm is run by husband and wife team Robert and Laura Strathern. Both from farming backgrounds Robert and Laura grow potatoes in the Colne Valley, on the Essex Suffolk border, and are the third generation to do so on the family farm. In 2006 Robert and Laura launched Fairfields Farm Crisps, which has grown into a brand synonymous with high quality and great tasting crisps!
- Jimmy's Farm
Visit Jimmy's Farm as seen on TV, home of the rare breed Essex Pig. The working farm is open for visitors 7 days a week. There's loads to do at the farm for a great family day out. There is a Nature Trail, Woodland Walk, Beautiful Garden's, Farm Shop, Adventure Play Area and Field Kitchen. You can buy home reared free range pig produce, beef and lamb in the butchers as well as an abundance of herbs and veggies from their garden. If you can't make it to the farm you can buy their meat from the lovely online shop.
- Minsmere RSPB Bird Reserve
Minsmere offers families and keen birdwatchers a great day out. Nature trails take you through a variety of habitats to excellent birdwatching hides. In spring, you can watch avocets and marsh harriers, or hear booming bitterns. On the beach, a special area is cordoned off to protect nesting little terns. In autumn and winter, many wading birds and swans, ducks and geese visit the reserve. There is a visitor centre where you can find out more about the wildlife, browse in the shop or enjoy a meal in the tearoom. There are events all year and family explorer backpacks and trail booklets are available.

Browsing the shops and galleries at Snape Maltings you are guaranteed to find things you will not see on the High Street.
- Suffolk Food Hall
The national award winning Suffolk Food Hall is a farm shop, restaurant, garden centre and much more providing enjoyment for all, just south of Ipswich. For those who are interested in food; where it comes from, how it's been handled and what to do with it.
